If a business is distressed, has a poor cash position, is in debt or in need of a turnaround, it is unlikely to be in a position to fund outside assistance. I charge no fees and instead look for ways to assist in the development of the business, increasing its value. I stand to gain financially only if I can achieve significant, agreed results for your business.
Most strategies I use are unknown to accountants and financial advisors and can generally increase company value by around 2 – 5 times and increase cash positions significantly and quickly.
Working with a business owner, I can spot problems and implement solutions that may not be visible to current management and owners as they are often too close to the subject. Turning your business around when you’re deeply involved can be challenging, and extremely stressful, especially when you have mounting debts, a CVA or personal guarantees in place. In extreme cases, insolvency can seem like the only option available to you.
Typically, companies contact Insolvency Practitioners who will charge you thousands of pounds. An already financially struggling business could do without such additional expenditure; smarter options are available to you and I would welcome an informal conversation with anyone who feels they might be in this position.

How would it work from there?
Every business is different. Though initially we would arrange a meeting and assess the situation in full. A priority is almost always to stabilise cash flow and calm things down with creditors. From there, a series of tests would be conducted to diagnose ‘business problems’. Based on the results, we would recommend solutions, prepare a cash forecast, and develop a written turnaround plan tailored to your company. Finally, we would prepare a series of action items and help you implement them as we guide the turnaround together to a successful conclusion.
Speed is a powerful ally so the faster we devise and define the plans and strategies, the better. As time goes by, without intervention they will likely only get worse.
